Well hey there kids! I guess you might be wondering who the hell I am.
I’m Emily aka Wifelet, Mama and lover of exclamation marks!!!
I’m a former actress, producer and wearer of heels higher than one and a half inches. (Although, in defiance I have been known to babywear in heels. My own little way of sticking it to the man. And my back.) I was born in the UK, grew up in Canada then I had a dream that I HAD to move to London, and then another one that it had to be January 15th 2001 so I packed up my life and moved across the pond (the dream didn’t take international time zones into consideration so I left on the 15th and arrived on the 16th – I later wondered if that had screwed everything up!) Probably best dream advice EV.AH! I met the lovely husbando on the set of the first short film I ever produced (and even starred in as the flaky SilverStarr). Five years later we decided to move back to Canada (again) to start a family. Pretty much nothing has gone to plan since we arrived.
Our daughter, Little Miss, was born in August 09 and life has never been the same.
This blog is essentially the musings of a 30-something new mom trying to celebrate brilliance, wear heels and look fabulous whilst stumbling down the road of motherhood.
